I want to be a caregiver because I am very compassionate, loving and caring and especially helping other people . I have excellent communications skills and am very patient. To me happiness is making a difference in another persons life. I am honest, reliable and ethical. Also an excellent team player with good organizational skills. I have worked with people from different backgrounds and I value the differences but use them to ensure everyone is comfortable. I respect cultural backgrounds and the fact that everyone's opinion matters.

An employer should hire me because I am mature, confident and willing to take up new challenges. I am very open and willing to learn. I use positive criticism to make myself a better person. I respect authority and always consult those in authority whenever I am not sure of something. I have previous knowledge in organization behavior, conflict resolution and workplace mediation. I am able to be both empathetic and professional at the same time without letting my emotions overrule my judgment. It gives me joy and satisfaction whenever I help to put back a smile on another person's face. I believe most limitations are just minor setbacks and can be reversed with compassion and focused care. I believe in engaging and enriching the health and spirit of each person who am privileged to give care. I believe in honoring individuality and providing care as the case demands. I tested using the Positive Physical Approach with Clients and families and it has worked very well in creating deep connections and a sense of trust. In caregiving trust is vital to getting maximum co-operation from those we serve.
