Join BrightStar of Coastal Los Angeles as a Pediatric Nurse, where you will provide compassionate care to a child in a supportive environment. Shifts Available
Monday to Sunday 8am to 8pm

Location:
Huntington Beach

Responsibilities:

•  Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, including TPN administration.
•  Monitor and assess patient health and vital signs regularly.
•  Provide specialized pediatric care, including G-tube care and management.
• Provide education and support to families regarding care plans and health management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
•  Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Assist in developing individualized care plans for pediatric patients.
•  Respond to medical emergencies swiftly and effectively.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. 

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse in California.
•  Minimum of 1 years of pediatric nursing experience preferred. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with children and families.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Compassionate demeanor and a passion for pediatric care.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
